Download the client. Go to the
Download page and grab the Tibia 8.60 client. No installer needed.

Create an account. Click
Create Account in the menu. Pick a username and password.

Log in & create a character. Open the client, enter the server IP play.theotserver.com and port 7171, log in and create your first character.

Pick your vocation. You start as a base class. At level 100, visit the Queen NPC in the temple to choose your class (Conqueror, Guardian, Hunter, Warden, Sorcerer, or Druid).

Get promoted. Reach level 300 and return to the Queen to promote. Your level resets to 2 but your skills and gear stay. Over level 100 anyone can fight, but only promoted players gain experience from kills.
💡 Tip: Experience is locked at level 100 until you pick a class, and again at level 300 until you promote. Don't skip the Queen NPC!
